"...and you were dead in your trespasses and sins..." Ephesians 2:1
Wow. That is a horrible mental picture. That is our human position before a Holy God.
Yup. Somehow before I met Jesus I thought I was really living. I am sure you did too. I had no idea that I was a dead woman walking. In my mind I truly thought I was winning at the game of life when in reality I was nailed in a coffin the whole time. God sure sees things so differently than we do.
Finding forgiveness through Christ changed everything. Once I began digging into the Bible I began discovering my privileges as a daughter of The King, and that my sweet sister, was a game changer! Knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that God was not going to let go of me gave me a security and freedom that I so desperately needed. Seeing where God has brought me from and where He is taking me is producing A HEART OF GRATITUDE. A HEART OF WORSHIP. And it gives me a burning passion to share the Truth that I have found.
" But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). "
That is your Jesus...so rich in love...so kind in His mercy to you! Rescuing you before you ever knew you needed help! His hands are full of GRACE as He begins washing things up.
